I'm here to share information and facts on not one but two law firms and their complete negligence and failures in representing us for a combined total of nearly 17 years. First is Morgan & Morgan- specifically Armando Lauritano but even worse is the second Lawyer- Donald St Denis .
My Son and I have been lucky enough to have survived a traumatic birthing injury. My Uterus severely ruptured during labor and I lost massive amounts of blood. The uterine injury was so bad that it went all the way down into my vagina! Yes I bet your stomach hurt just reading and imagining that pain! During that time my Son was still inside my body and unfortunately he suffered a significant brain injury. This was the most tramatic event of our lives and was caused by multiple medical professionals severe negligence. My Husband and I turned to Morgan and Morgan for help. Little did we know that was going to be an entire chapter of madness added into our already devasted life! Right from the start Armando Lauritano with Morgan & Morgan was the lawyer assigned to our case. He bragged about how much money our case was going to be worth as he was convinced he could get a settlement of millions and my Son and I were severely injured and the blame was being put on the Dr's and hospital. But as time passed, my Son was found to have qualified for a specific program here that actually disqualified him from being part of the lawsuit. Sooo Armando pretty much dropped my case as if my lifelong injuries really didn't matter at all! When we realized my case should have been moving forward we asked Armando about my case and what was going to happen since our Son was a seperate situation and he said and I quote "so you leak a little of urine, big deal, what's that worth 50 grand" stunned by his remark my Husband said No, that's not it, she can't have children anymore! At that point Armando turned sheet white and walked away, leaving us in complete shock in a Dr office parking lot! The next day we received a call from Morgan & Morgan's office stating there was a conflict and they were removing themselves from my case and I could pick up my file and i didn't owe them a penny!
Fast forward to almost 17 years after hiring Morgan, we called hundreds of Law Firms trying to find that one that would be willing to go up against Morgan and Morgan. Let's be real here, we have all heard the commercials, they are a massive firm that basically runs the state of Florida and now are in every state. No one wanted to go against them. This is where St Denis and Davey came in. They were willing to take the case and we thought it was a true blessing.... Guess what- we were so wrong!!

After hundreds of calls reaching out to any and every Lawyer between Florida and Georgia we kept getting "sorry no, we work with Morgan & Morgan" every Attorney feared making them angry so they weren't willing to go against them! What we thought was a blessing actually turned into a complete failure in 2011, we found an Attorney to take the case- St Denis and Davey. Fast forward to 2018, we went to a jury trial in Sarasota which was pretty difficult and there's nothing quite like having to re- live one of the most difficult times in your life in front of a jury and a full court room of people but we did it and won a $5 million dollar verdict! What an accomplishment after all these years...so we thought! What came next was just like another kick in the stomach, yep the kind that drops you to your knees and takes your breath away. Morgan filed an appeal and wouldn't you know it, of course he won and we lost it ALL! Come to find out Don St Denis FAILED to put in one single piece of evidence that showed that this massive OB office was capable of paying the $5 million verdict which Don fully knew he had to do and he DIDN'T DO IT!! Another thing I never knew was it does not matter what the Jury decides it can all be just as easily thrown out. Coincidentally I ran into a juror a few years later and they had said I hope you guys are living a decent life finally after all that happened at the trial. I had to explain that we never got a penny because it was appealed and explain that St Denis massively Failed us! I think the juror could have cried. None of them ever knew or thought we had to prove in court that the very large and long time in business Dr office could pay our verdict. Not to mention most of the time Insurance covers these kinds of things- isn't that why business owners including Dr's carry insurance?? Well not according to the Appeallate court and FL laws. Needless to say we're back where we started over 12 years ago. No better way to say it than we got screwed by yet another Lawyer. One of the worst things about it is not only the $5 million that we lost which actually amounted to over 7.5 with interest but the fact that Don and his associate Eric Bradstreet fully pretended like they were part of our Family and that they genuinely cared. Once it was all over and we lost all that we fought so hard for things took an ugly turn with them. They refuse to take responsibility for their Failures, and are now fighting us to not have to pay a penny even though they lost 7.5 Million Dollars! How simple it would have been to put in one document. The trail was a few weeks long, there was plenty of opportunity to do so. Unfortunately we're now at the same place looking for an Attorney to File a Legal Malpractice Suit against St Denis so it's been finding one lawyer in 2008 to sue another lawyer to now finding another new lawyer to sue a lawyer that screwed up worse than the one he sued! Yep that's a lot to take in and even say. The point is, how long do you have to fight for all that's been stolen from you that you can never get back? We live our lives everyday so thankful and blessed and outright lucky to be with Rock Jr, but there's always going to be the physical pains that I have from all of my injuries, there's always the things that come into your mind that we've lost and missed throughout the years that we'll never get back and it's starting to feel like no one cares. We're now on the journey of finding someone, A Lawyer that has to be out there that's still a decent human being that wants to do what's right for a Family that's been through so much. Lesson for everyone reading this, if you are considering hiring St Denis and Davy or Morgan and Morgan you may want to reconsider.. especially if it's St Denis. Losing over 5 Million Dollars over something as simple as a single piece of paper or one sentence from a witness is grossly negligent and careless.

Here's where we're at now! I still suffer daily with internal pain and the emotional issues that come along with the entire situation and Don St Denis is saying who cares! We lost Millions, the appellate court ruled that Don failed and he is still practicing and acting like he's the Best he can be.. no remorse, no apology and we're here

Over 16 years of legal battles, heartaches and Lies. My best advice- Don't hire St Denis or Morgan because they both only care about how much they can screw you out if so they can buy that fancy vacation home or be the one in the courtroom wearing that suit that is more expensive than your monthly house payment. They don't care about you and no one cares that they don't follow the rules set for Attorney's. It's all a Brotherhood and if your not a Law your in it.
